- Hand-scribed and cut saddle notches or piece en
piece style (log walls between upright posts) is
available! - Hand-scribed laterals and flyways-using over-
scribing methods to ensure weather-tight fits. Our
structures require NO chinking. All fits are
wood on wood. (an unseen gasket is placed
between each and every joint -weather tight) - Log wall roof pitch and plates cut as per plan
- Log size diameters 10” tips and 17” or bigger butts
- Second floor log tie beams and floor joists as per
plan (visible from main floor) - Log roof system including log ridge beams, purlins,
posts, and mitered log truss as per plan - Window and door openings cut and sanded with
key way for easy window and door installation - Drilling for through-bolts and electrical as per plan.
- Mortises cut for all switches, plugs and lights,
sanded for face plates.
